The A2212 is a widely used outrunner brushless motor for RC hobbyists. It is suitable for drones, RC planes and combat robots. It is one of the most popular high-speed brushless motors designed specifically for RC hobbyists. The KV rating determines how fast the motor spins per volt, so lower KV variants such as the 930KV and 1000KV suit larger propellers and slower, more powerful builds, while higher KV options like the 2200KV and 2700KV are better suited to smaller props and faster aircraft. The motor features a 3.17mm hardened steel shaft, dual ball bearings, and pre-soldered 3.5mm gold spring male connectors, and also includes female connectors for your speed controller. A bullet-type prop adapter and cross motor mount are included, with mounting holes at 16mm and 19mm spacing, tapped for M3 screws. Across the range, maximum efficiency is 80%, and the motor runs on 2-3S LiPo batteries, with dimensions of 27.5 x 30mm and a weight of around 47g. A compatible ESC is required separately and is not included.
