A set of five individual plastic bits, each comprising a matched torso and leg assembly in the iconic Maximus-pattern Mark IV power armour worn by Space Marines during the era of the Horus Heresy. At the Mark IV stage of power armour development, the design moved away from separate abutting plates in favour of larger inflexible armour casings with flexible joints, which was far easier to produce and maintain. These components are ideal for hobbyists building or expanding a 30k Legion force, and are well suited to kitbashing or replacing damaged parts on existing squads. Mark IV suits are the most common of the pre-Heresy armour marks still in service, making them a fitting choice for any Space Marine Legion that fought during or before the Horus Heresy. Sold in new condition, these bits are a cost-effective way to add authentic Heresy-era warriors to your collection without committing to a full boxed set. The Maximus armour was designed to be the most successful power armour of its age, though its development was partially halted at the time of Horus's heresy.
