This is a lot of 50 counterspell-themed Magic: The Gathering cards in used condition. The lot contains a mix of commons and uncommons, plus at least 3 rares, and you will not receive more than 4 copies of any single card. Playing counterspells in Magic: The Gathering is one of the surest ways to control the pace of the game, and counter magic has defined the way blue decks play since Alpha. Counterspells are spells that counter a spell or ability, usually cast as instants in response to another spell on the stack, sending it to the graveyard rather than allowing it to resolve. This lot is ideal for Commander (EDH) players looking to build or bulk out blue control decks without buying cards individually. There are broadly two types of counterspells: hard counters, which stop spells without restriction, and soft counters, which may only stop a spell temporarily or allow an opponent to pay to bypass them.
