Batman: Shadow of the Bat is a DC Comics series featuring Batman that ran for 96 issues from 1992 to 2000, with its stories set in Batman's then-current continuity alongside Detective Comics and Batman. The majority of issues were written by Alan Grant. The series explored the psyche of the various characters in the Batman comics and was also notable for introducing the villain Victor Zsasz into the Batman mythos. This lot is ideal for fans of DC's landmark Knightfall era. Issue 0 was released as part of a special initiative in which all mainstream DC titles published a zero issue to coincide with the Zero Hour crossover event, with each one revealing a previously unknown aspect of the title character's background. Issue 25, cover-dated March 1994, features Jean-Paul Valley as Batman and forms part of the Knightquest saga, as does issue 28, cover-dated June 1994. All three issues are bagged and in Very Good condition.
