A pair of early Marvel Comics trade paperbacks from the Bronze Age. Mighty Marvel Team-Up Thrillers (1983) is a 160-page, full-colour softcover published by Simon and Schuster. It brings together classic superhero team-ups and battles featuring Spider-Man and Daredevil, Captain America and Iron Man, the Hulk and the Thing, Thor and the Silver Surfer, the X-Men and the Avengers, and Spider-Man and Red Sonja. It was the first in a series of early 1980s Marvel trade paperbacks. The 1984 Uncanny X-Men TPB collects the celebrated Dark Phoenix Saga. It reprints Uncanny X-Men issues 129 to 137, written by Chris Claremont with art by John Byrne and Terry Austin. This storyline follows Jean Grey as she is consumed by a power that threatens the entire universe, and remains one of the most iconic X-Men stories ever published. Both volumes are presented in Very Good condition and represent a rare chance to own two significant pieces of 1980s Marvel history.
