About this deal

The WeMos D1 Mini is a compact, affordable WiFi development board aimed at hobbyists and makers building Internet of Things projects. Based on the ESP8266EX microcontroller, it packs WiFi connectivity, 4MB of flash memory, and 11 digital I/O pins into a tiny form factor. It measures just 34.2mm x 25.6mm and weighs around 3g, making it one of the smallest ESP8266 boards available. The ESP8266 processor runs at clock speeds of 80MHz and can sometimes optionally be overclocked to 160MHz. The board is fully compatible with the Arduino IDE and supports NodeMCU/Lua programming, as well as both serial (USB) and over-the-air (OTA) programming. It offers 11 digital input/output pins with interrupt, PWM, I2C, and one-wire support (except D0), plus one analogue input, all via a micro USB connection. It also follows a stackable shield philosophy, with a wide variety of compatible shields available, including motor drivers, relay modules, OLED displays, and temperature and humidity sensors. Supplied in quantities of 1 to 20 pieces, it is an excellent low-cost option for rapid IoT prototyping.
